This was not a quick read, but I didn't mind. It made me upset reading the rest of the book, and the subtle changes a normal reader wouldn't pick up, but what about the 25 million reads from the readers of the original story? It's glaringly obvious that the author is not American, which is fine. It worked, Ashton was 1 and Nate was 2 in their class.

I knew when I started it I was going to love it. While this book started out strong and effectively shocked me with the chain of events that lead to Anna's kidnapping, the "healing process" didn't leave much of an impression and left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

The story was too long and rehashed, too much repetition and over usage of words, the plot could have been explosive but ended up weak, and the character building was poor.
